Michael Zephro & Victor Patron- Saturday 1/28, 8pm- $5 at the door
I recently watched "Midnight in Paris" from Woody Allen, and without a doubt , Michael's music would have been a good soundtrack for the 20's Paris scenes. With his jazzy, sometimes gipsy, swing and his mellow and sweet voice, Michael brings you back to the Roaring twenties. He will be joined by our good friend Victor Patron on bass and ukulele.
Adam is already pretty well known among fingerstyle guitar players and Youtube addicts. But as for many of those guitar virtuosi, nothing can give you a better idea of their talent then an intimate concert. Check his website at http://www.adamrafferty.com or even better, google "adam rafferty youtube" and you'll see pretty quickly why millions of viewers connected to his youtube videos.
His Michael Jacskon covers are my favorites (remind me my teenage years) but you can't summarize Adam's work to that only. We're very proud to get him at the store and feel very excited about the concert we'll have on Feb 10th.
David Pritchard - Friday 3/24, 8pm- $10 at the door
Guitarist/composer David Pritchard’s unique music for multiple acoustic guitars, first introduced in his CD Air Patterns, was described in a cdbaby editorial review as: “ ... transporting you beyond the guitar, the sound of it, and particularly its contextual associations.” Vertical Eden, the latest album, was described in an Audiophile Audition review as “...transformative.” His music straddles the lines between contemporary classical, folk, jazz, and new acoustic. As a composer, Pritchard’s music has also been performed and recorded by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Pritchard performs with his own acoustic guitar trio featuring fellow guitarists Kevin Tiernan and Jack Kovacs.

The African Cowboys - Saturday 11/26/11
Robert Berryman is a unusual fellow and brings a unique Malian twist in his rock/reggae combo The African Cowboys. After many discussions at the store and after listening to the band's last record, we've decided that we could break the acoustic rule and bring the full band to the store. African music is so captivating. We had a great time!
Dan and John have been faithful to our store since our first days and they will join to deliver a promising concert to show all their support. They are great guys but above all, they are great songwriters. Dan had already is part of fame and is a cult singer for many people, John is without any doubt embracing a successful carrier.
