I had somebody coming in for a used Goodall and tried that guitar: he was blown away. O don't care where the guitars are made, as long as you feel the quality in the making and the quality in sound from a good wood selection. As usual, the Blueridge guys are totally right here! The Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack spruce combination gives a unique complexity in tones you generally get for far a lot more. I fully understand that going with 2 grands for a Chinese made guitar is quite a challenge, but when you know you would talk 5 grands or more for such a wood combination, id doesn't hurt to stop at the store and gives it a try!
