| DESCRIPTION: The Miniolian is made overseas (hey, if you've got the budget, you may be better off with a National) but has definitely some of the 30's US vibe. The duolian is not only nice looking (see the moon and star coverplate), it plays great. It's all set up by our luthier, Colin, and plays like butter. It's parlor size make it easy to handle yet brings a full and loud voice, with a pronounced woody tone from the spruce top. Will work great for blues, but you shouldn't restrain your playing: with a unique voice there are many ways to go. Old time jazz or ragtime would be killers to. Price with case |
| REPUBLIC:Republic earned a lot of followers lately with quality budget resonators and guitars. Do they deserve it? With the first guitars we received I can say yes, they do. They have a pretty extensive range of instruments, including parlor resonators and guitars, 3/4 size resonators and even a Weissenborn type model. For the price, they will be hard to beat. |
