| DESCRIPTION: Very sadly, Saga decided to stop its Trinity College line. With a 12th fret joint and cutaway structure, all solid wood construction and Saga unique quality you get a wonderful acoustic guitar under $1000. Marketing and heavy advertising has been key in selling guitars, but if sound and quality were the only drivers, that guitar would sell as crazy. It's a wonderful guitar for finger-picking, the rosewood back and side give rich overtones and great sustain, while the 12th fret construction and shifted bridge produce a warm and mellow sound. And it's quite unique: you get a cutaway without the electronics. It's pretty common for higher end models, but so rare at that price point! You don't have to deal with a messy pick up and can go with whatever you want. We highly recommend LR Baggs Anthem (add $250 for installed Anthem SL). One of my favorites! Remember!
