Goodall Standard 1995 - $4,000

Made 5-5-95 in Hawai. Top is made of Solid European Spruce (natural High Gloss Finish). Back and sides are made of solid Figured Walnut. One word: a cannonball! Loud, clear, incredible sustain. I don’t think there is much to say about John Goodall’s incredible skills.
That guitar was made in John’s Hawaiian workshop. Since then, John has moved back to Northern California and works only with his son. It will be harder and harder to get one of his guitars as the production has been seriously downsized!
This guitar has been seriously played and shows some dings and scratches. There is no structural issue and for that kind of sound, I would trade any scratches any time. The Walnut gives an extra clarity to the mix and the European Spruce works definitely as fine as a good Adirondack. As for all Goodall guitars, woods are hand picked and only AAAA.
She comes in a Deluxe new hard case. (not original)
