The Fretted Frog - Vintage Guitars

Guild D25M - $1,079

serial # DA105517. Year 1979.
The M stands for the Mahogany finish applied on the top, yet the top is Solid Sitka Spruce (not a Mahogany one). Back and sides are made of arched laminated Mahogany. That guitar will be a perfect Bluegrass gear. Basses are loud and punchy, mids and trebles are clear. The craftsmanship is unbelievable and you won’t have to care much about it aging nicely another 30 years (at least).
That guitar was made in the Guild Westerly workshop, Rhode Island, in 1979. She’s in an incredibly good condition considering her age. That guitar is part of the last made during Guild golden days (before the historical management left in 1983 and , worse, being bought by Fender in 1996. Since then, production has been constantly moved to different workshops in the US, and partially to China).
She comes in her original hard case.
