Grand Auditorium guitar. Top is made of Solid Sitka Spruce (Vintage Tint). Back and sides are made of Mahogany. That guitar is definitely made for fingerpicking and gentle strumming. It will be a great songwriter gear. With Mother of pearl snowflakes inlays, vintage tint and gold tuners, she looks gorgeous too.
That guitar was made in Japan in the early 80s. The LS400 was back then the higher hand handcrafted Yamahas. Paul Simon himself played a LS400 in the eighties. If you would like to find the same level of Japanese craftsmanship today, you would certainly go over $2,000. That particular guitar shows only minor dents and scratches and is in a very good condition.
She comes in a non original vintage hardshell case.
